Very few women dislike receiving gifts that make them look nice or enhance their beauty. In fact jewelry and beauty products made up a quarter of all gift sales last Christmas according to UK department store Debenhams. However, what was popular last year is not likely to be in vogue this year, so here are some ideas that any woman will love.
Simple Jewelry. This year has been dominated by sleek simple jewelry designs that shun fussiness and embrace elegance. It’s usually a good idea to stick with neutral coloured metals such as silver and platinum as these don’t really clash with other items. Don’t think for a minute that you can pass a cheap item off as expensive however, just by sticking it in a nice box…women can tell. A good idea is go for a browse around some jewelry shops with your lady before you buy, and pay attention to the pieces she likes.
Spa Days.You cannot go wrong with a spa day for your lady, and maybe even for her lady friends also? If you know the woman you are buying for reasonably well then you may be able to select a treatment you think they will like. If you don’t know the recipient that well however, or are just scared of getting it wrong, you can always opt for vouchers.
Body Moisturiser. As most men will know, buying face moisturiser for a woman is a bit like walking a mine field. If you don’t get the right colour, consistency, richness, fragrance or micro particles etc, she won’t even attempt to use it. Luckily buying body moisturiser as womens gifts is not such a task yet as they are not as specialized as facial products. It’s still a good idea to know which basic skin type they have before you buy a moisturiser, but if its a good brand then it will work well for the majority of people.
